Six Ukrainian troops to be treated in U.S. military medical center / Novoye Vremya
Six Ukrainian servicemen injured during the Anti-Terrorist Operation have arrived in the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which is located near Washington, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly wrote on Facebook.
"We will try together with colleagues from the embassy, the diaspora to help them [soldiers], including by providing psychological assistance. Despite a highly professional and sincere support of the American military and doctors, the first period of adaptation is the most difficult one. I have seen for myself that this medical center has created unique conditions, not only for the treatment, rehabilitation but also concerning the social adaptation. I hope everything will go according to the plan. I wish our soldiers to overcome these difficulties with dignity!" Chaly wrote.
