Pro-Russian parties lead latest Moldova anti-government protests

Tens of thousands took to the streets in the capital Chisinau on Sunday, led by the two main pro-Russian parties, according to Ukraine Today.

Columns of people marched towards the parliament building, passing pro-European protesters who had set up camp several weeks ago outside the government headquarters. People are angry over claims of mass corruption, Ukraine Today reports.

Despite the different viewpoints of the pro-Russian and pro-EU camps, they remain united in their main demand - early presidental and parliamentary elections.
