Lukashenko re-elected with 83.5% votes

Preliminary data show that Alexander Lukashenko wins yet another presidential election in Belarus gaining 83.49% of the votes, according to the country’s Central Election Commission, according to BELTA.

The final results will be announced after the regional election commissions and Minsk city election commission sign the final protocols with data on the votes for each candidate, said Chairman of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina.

More than 6% of the voters stood against all candidates.

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to exit polls, Alexander Lukashenko was winning the presidential election, gaining 80.3% of the votes.
