A Ukrainian family temporarily registered in St. Petersburg has been killed as a result of head-on collision with a truck in Tver region of the Russian Federation, according to Tvernews.
A woman in a Chevrolet Lacetti was moving in the direction of Moscow, but drove into the oncoming lane for unknown reasons. Her car collided with a Hyundai truck.
It is reported that all the passengers in the car were killed: a 33-year-old female driver, a 37-year-old man in the front seat (he was wearing a seat belt) died from injuries on the scene, and a 12-year-old girl.
"A five-year-old girl was taken to hospital in critical condition, but a few hours later she died on the operating table," the report says.
A 36-year-old driver of truck was taken to hospital with injuries, but left it after medical assistance.
