Informed sources announced on Tuesday that the Russian Consulate in the Northern city of Aleppo has been targeted by a car bomb, FARS news agency reported.
A car bomb reportedly was exploded in front of the Russian consulate overnight, the sources said, according to FARS.
"There has not been any further report on the possible casualties or the identity of those behind the attack," the sources further added.
As UNIAN reported earlier, dozens of people came to the Russian Consulate in Istanbul to protest against Russian military operation in Syria.
