A news report by LifeNews, a sensationalist pro-Kremlin media outlet, saying that a Christian Dior handbag was stolen from a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV owned by a female cleaner working for Russia's gas giant Gazprom has created quite the buzz on social media and become a subject of mockery, according to Ukrainian news agency RBC Ukraine.
"Maria P., a 44-year-old female cleaner of Gazprom's offices, has been robbed at a parking lot of the Rumyantsevo Business Park center on the outskirts of Moscow. Thieves took her Dior crocodile marquetry bag with bank cards and documents from a Mitsubishi Outlander," RBC Ukraine quoted the news report.
LifeNews said that the bag's price was RUB 300,000 (about $4,000).
