An official signing ceremony for Georgia visa liberalization and the visa free suspension mechanism will take place in Brussels on March 1, according to RFE/RL correspondent in Brussels Rikard Jozwiak.
"The signing ceremony for Georgia visa lib & the visa free suspension mechanism will take place in Brussels on 1 March," Jozwiak wrote on Twitter on February 24, 2017.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the European Parliament on February 2 supported visa liberalization for Georgia. A total of 553 MEPs voted for the move with 66 against and 28 abstained.
