Lithuanian Ambassador to Ukraine said this to a press conference
Lithuania has not intent to dismantle Soviet monuments, according to Ambassador of the Lithuanian Republic to Ukraine Algirdas Kumzha.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the ambassador said to a press conference in Kyiv today that Lithuania takes care of all its monuments. “In Lithuania, we do respect memory, graves, and monuments. This is in our blood – to respect the past”, A.Kumzha stressed.
At the same time, he pointed out there are no monuments to Lenin and Stalin in Lithuania.
