Flights launching from Boryspil to Heathrow Dec 17 – Ambassador

The negotiations with the administration of London Heathrow Airport have been a success.

In a month, Ukrainians will be able to fly from Boryspil International Airport to London's main airport, Heathrow.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko has made the relevant announcement via Twitter.

"Finally, the Ukrainians will fly from Kyiv to Britain's main air gate - London Heathrow Airport. Negotiations with the airport administration have been completed. First flights will launch in a month," the ambassador said.

"Better conditions for passengers, faster transfers, convenient transport links, close ties between peoples – all of this is part new strategic relations between Ukraine and the United Kingdom in action," Prystaiko stated.

As stated on the UIA website, flights from London are now carried out from Gatwick to Ukraine's Boryspil.

Flights to Heathrow will be available from December 17.

"From Dec 17, 2020, UIA introduces new flights from London Heathrow Airport to Kiyv Boryspil Airport. Flight PS 118 to Kyiv from Heathrow (LHR) is scheduled to depart from Terminal 2 at 12:20 and arrive in Kyiv (KBP) at 17:40 every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday," UIA wrote.
