Ukraine's Boryspil and Lviv airports will handle Ryanair flights.
Talks with one of Europe's largest low-cost airlines, Ryanair, on its work on the Ukrainian market have succeeded, and the flights are scheduled to be launched this autumn.
"Before an agreement is signed, I cannot comment on anything," Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said at a press conference on February 22. "Indeed negotiations have been held today. Indeed they have been successful. Indeed the company will launch its flights in the fall of 2018."

He also noted that an official presentation on the opening of Ryanair's routes in Ukraine would take place in February or March 2018.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ryanair on March 15 announced the opening of 11 flights from Kyiv and Lviv from October 30, 2017.
On July 10, Boryspil CEO Pavlo Ryabikin said that signing a contract with Ryanair could inflict annual damage to the airport totaling some UAH 2 billion in a loss of profit. He called the contract with Ryanair financially unfavorable and refused to sign it until the airport's requirements were taken into account.
On July 10, Ryanair announced withdrawal from Ukraine due to non-compliance by Boryspil officials with agreements previously reached with the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
