Ukraine showcases kamikaze-style RAM UAV at UMEX 2018 exhibit in UAE

Ukrainian State Foreign Trade Enterprise SpecTechnoExport, involved in up-to-date military technologies exports, has showcased a cost-effective, lethal aerial loitering system RAM UAV at the UMEX 2018 exhibition in UAE.

The RAM UAV is a weapon system in which the munition loiters around the target area for some time, searches for targets, and attacks once a target is located, the Defense Blog reported.

According to the developers, the RAM UAV is a catapult-launched system with a maximum flight range of 30 kilometers and a loitering duration of up to 40 minutes.

As was earlier reported, the brand new reconnaissance and attack unmanned aerial vehicle Sokil successfully passed the test in September 2017. The UAV is a product of successful cooperation of Ukraine-based Chezara with its Polish partners.
