Sanctions against 13 persons have been extended for another year.
The relevant decision was made on Monday within the framework of the EU Council meeting on environmental protection, a source in the EU Council told an UNIAN correspondent in Brussels.

The decision must be made public in the Official Journal of the EU.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the ambassadors of the European Union on February 28 decided to prolong sanctions against former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his associates.
