Some French companies in Ukraine encountered raider attacks.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont says French companies operating in Ukraine occasionally encounter corruption, which undermines foreign investors' trust in Ukraine.

Dumont also said that there were cases when French companies became victims of raider attacks, when their property was illegally seized.
"The Ukrainian authorities know about these facts. They do not even deny their existence. And when such a raider attack on a company happens and the judge takes the side of these raiders, are you aware of its impact on foreign investors' trust in Ukraine?" the ambassador wondered.
As UNIAN reported earlier, foreign direct investment in Ukraine's economy (non-resident shareholders' equity) amounted to US$2.216 billion in 2017, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
