The major suppliers of petroleum products to Ukraine are Belarus and Russia.
Ukraine's petroleum products imports in January-March 2018 were estimated at US$990 million, which was 13.8% up year-over-year (y-o-y).
In particular, the country imported petroleum products worth $383.9 million from Belarus (38.8% of the cost of petroleum products imports), $383.4 million from Russia (38.8%), $95.1 million from Lithuania (9.6%), and $127.4 million from the other countries, the State Fiscal Service reported.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine in 2017 increased foreign exchange costs for imports of petroleum products by 27.3%, to $4.2 billion.
In 2017, petroleum products imports from Belarus in monetary terms totaled $1.828 billion (43.9%), from Russia – $1.272 billion (30.6%), and from Lithuania – $469.4 billion.
