Ukrainian agribusinesses exported 31.8 million tonnes of grain from July 1, 2017, when the 2017-2018 marketing year (MY) began, to April 11, 2018.

Over the period under review, Ukrainian farmers also shipped 361,400 tonnes of flour abroad, including 360,000 tonnes of wheat flour and 1,400 tonnes of other types of flour.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian agribusinesses in 2016-2017 MY exported 43.8 million tonnes of grain, which was a record high over Ukraine's independence. At the same time, revenue from grain exports increased by 6%, to US$6.4 billion.
The previous record of grain exports in Ukraine was registered in the 2015-2016 MY at the level of 39.4 million tonnes.
Ukraine harvested 61.3 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in 2017, which was 7.3% down from 2016, according to the State Statistics Service.
