Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk says Ukraine has failed to implement two conditions to receive the next tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

"On the reform agenda in the context of IMF cooperation, we have at the moment two prior actions which are not completed. First is the passing the law on creation of anti-corruption court. And second is introducing the mechanism of automatic adjustment of the gas tariffs to market level," Danyliuk said answering questions during an Atlantic Council roundtable in Washington, D.C.

As for gas tariffs, it's not about specific prices, but about creating a competitive gas market in Ukraine, he said.

Earlier, the minister predicted Ukraine would receive the next tranche from the IMF worth $2 billion as early as May-June this year.

According to the forecasts by the National Bank of Ukraine, the next IMF tranche might come at the beginning of this year's third quarter.
