Kyiv City State Administration has approved a project worth UAH 6.3 billion (US$240.8 million) for the construction of the Mostytska and Prospekt Pravdy subway stations at the Syretsko-Pecherska line with a branch line towards the Vynohradar subway station.

The subway section with a capacity of 40 pairs of trains per hour should be built within 36 months, according to Order No. 1216 of July 11, 2018, published on the administration's website.
The project will involve 100 workers, 60 new jobs will be created.
The construction will be financed from the local budget.
Nevertheless, the timing of the launch of the construction has not been specified yet. However, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko earlier announced that the construction of the subway line to Kyiv's Vynohradar residential area would start in 2018.
