The Ukrainian-Canadian ad hoc group is supposed to work out a joint decision to define priority areas of aid.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv says Canada will allocate US$30 million in aid to support Ukrainian businesses.
"The funds will be used to support Ukrainian businesses and entrepreneurs. The Ukrainian-Canadian ad hoc group should work out a joint decision on priority areas. One of them is support for the development of women's entrepreneurship in Ukraine," he wrote on Facebook, following a meeting with Canada's Minister of International Development and Francophone Marie-Claude Bibeau.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the next Ukraine Reform Conference would be held in Canada.
The Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) came into force on August 1, 2017.
The agreement removed 98% of trade restrictions and customs duties in mutual trade between the two countries.
