Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has said Ukraine will not halt cargo railway communication with the Russian Federation.
"Freight transportation is regulated by our obligations within the framework of the World Trade Organization. If it is blocked, the fact will be used by the Russian Federation to accuse Ukraine of an inconsistent position, and there will be another argument to use this during the construction of Nord Stream 2," the minister said during a joint briefing with Head of SE "Stevedoring Company "Olvia" Ruslan Oliynyk and CEO of E-Ukraine Yehor Stefanovych on the topic: "Creating a digital ecosystem of E-port ports."
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said Ukraine was considering closing down railway communication with Russia.
