The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade concluded strategic partnership plans in 2019-2020 with the Italian manufacturer Iveco and Germany's Daimler AG, according to Dmytro Tymchuk, MP and coordinator of the Information Resistance OSINT community, based in Ukraine.

Tymchuk wrote in a blog on the IR website that the investors' funds are intended to be used for:

- accelerated development of new joint production capacities with the Russian side, including the construction of new production facilities;

- modernization of technological lines - automation of processes, commissioning of new lines; and

- modernization and increase in capacity of:

1. "Iveco AMT" (Italy-Russia joint production – "Iveco" and "URALAZ"); and

2. "Daimler KamAZ RUS" (Germany-Russia joint production – "Daimler AG" and PJSC "KamAZ").

According to the IR, the plan allows Russians to create up to 15,000 new jobs and produce tens of thousands of additional motor vehicles annually (including for the purpose of supplying more trucks to the 1st and 2nd army groups of Russian occupation forces in Donbas).

For example, according to the deals reached, investments of Daimler AG alone in the production of KamAZ will allow the Russians to increase output of cargo trucks up to 55,000 in 2019.

According to the signed agreements, Putin's government guarantees that these motor vehicles will be considered as produced in the territory of the Russian Federation, then to be purchased by Gazprom, Alrosa, Norilsk Nickel, Rosneft, Yakutia Fuel and Energy Company, etc.

In conclusion, analysts sneer: "That's the minimum we need to know about today's 'EU sanctions against the aggressor' in the person of the Russian Federation."
