!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UAA1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair on September 3, 2018, handled its first flight from Ukraine.

The airlines' first plane arrived in the Ukrainian capital at about 14:20 Kyiv time and departed at 14:55 Kyiv time from Kyiv's Boryspil Airport for Berlin's Schönefeld.

As UNIAN reported, CEO of Ryanair Michael O'Leary, the general director of Boryspil Airport and the general director of Lviv Airport in early March 2018 signed a contract on the terms of service of Ryanair at the airports.

Then it became known that Ryanair would open 15 flights from Ukraine in October: 10 flights from Kyiv and five flights from Lviv with an initial ticket price of 10 euros, while the average fare is 40 euros.

Later it became known that the first Ryanair flights from Ukraine would start even earlier – from the beginning of September en route between Kyiv and Berlin.

It must be noted that Ryanair's entering Ukraine's market turned to be a success only at the second attempt. The first attempt in 2017 was unsuccessful because of the failure of talks between the company  and Boryspil Airport.
