Last year Ukraine saw a 4.2% decrease in hydrocarbons output.
Ukraine in January-July 2018 boosted crude oil and gas condensate production by 0.4%, year-over-year, to 1.268 million tonnes.
However, the production of these hydrocarbons by National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine and its subsidiaries decreased by 1.9%, to 1.097 million tonnes over the period under review, Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry said.

At the same time, private oil producers of Ukraine increased production by 18.3%, to 170,600 tonnes.
As UNIAN reported, oil production in Ukraine in 2017 decreased by 4.2% from 2016, to 2.098 million tonnes.
