Retail turnover increased most in Ukrainian-controlled districts in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as in Poltava, Zakarpattia, and Kyiv regions, namely by 27.9%, 13.7%, 11.1%, 11.1%, and 10.1%, respectively.
Retail trade in September 2018 alone shrank by 5% against August 2018, while it grew by 6.9% from August 2017.
As UNIAN reported earlier, retail trade in Ukraine increased by 8.8% in comparable prices in 2017 from 2016, to UAH 816.553 billion (US$29 billion).
