"Today, the former head of one of the largest agro holdings, wanted for committing large-scale fraud (about UAH 800 million/US$28.6 million) has been transferred from Switzerland to Ukraine," he wrote on Facebook on November 5.

He also shared photos of the extradition of Mykola Guta, the ex-CEO of Mriya Agro Holding PLC, who was put on the Interpol wanted list on charges of fraud in 2015 at the Ukrainian side's request.

Enin noted that the operation was complicated by the fact that some interested parties in the Swiss and Ukrainian law enforcement and judicial systems opposed the extradition.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Interpol in 2015 put on the wanted list 32-year-old Mykola Guta, the son of the founders and co-owners of Mriya Agro Holding, namely Ivan Guta and Klavdiya Guta. He was suspected of fraud.

In early August 2014, the agricultural holding failed to pay about $130 million in its obligations. According to the international committee of creditors, Mriya's debt before all financial creditors at the time of default was estimated at $1.3 billion.
