"We don't have reliable information about the origin of [those] sweets there, but we don't rule out our products could have been sold by third parties in the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and in the annexed Crimea. The corporation cannot control the movement of its products after they have been sold by official distributors, therefore we admit they could have been smuggled or supplied by second-hand dealers," the corporation's press service said, as reported by the news outlet LIGA.net.

At the same time, the company says that Roshen does not sell products in the temporarily occupied territories in the said regions.

LIGA.net earlier reported that Roshen sweets were reportedly sold in the Russian occupied city of Donetsk and Crimea.
