All coins are made of 999 silver and have a face value of UAH 5.
The National Bank of Ukraine introduced into circulation four commemorative coins included in the set titled "The 100th Anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine."
The coins are called "The Era of Peace," "The Era of Change," "The Era of Technologies," and "The Human, Time, Space".
The set's general theme is science, with each coin having a unique plot, the press service of the NBU reports.
The new hexagonal coins are decorated with pad print (color print) and local gilding (each coin has a gold content of at least 0.0001 g).

All coins have a nominal value of UAH 5 and are made of 999 silver, with the mass of the precious metal in the purity of each coin being 15.55 g.
The circulation of each type of coin is 4,000.
The NBU announced the price for the set at UAH 2,536 (coins will not be sold separately).
The coins are available for sale at regional departments of the NBU and banks-distributors, namely Oschadbank and Ukrgasbank.
