REUTERS The National Bank of Ukraine has approved the conditions and procedures for the launch of UnionPay International, one of the world&#39;s biggest payment systems, in Ukraine. At the first stage, the system will provide card acquiring services in Ukraine, cash withdrawal and payment for goods and services with UnionPay payment cards, it said. In future, Ukrainian banks are expected to start issuing UnionPay cards. The NBU recalled that UnionPay International is the fourth international card payment system in Ukraine that has a non-resident payment organization. UnionPay International (UPI) is a subsidiary of China UnionPay. In partnership with more than 1,800 institutions worldwide, UnionPay International has enabled card acceptance in 170 countries and regions with issuance in 48 countries and regions.
