The finance ministry plans to split the Service by the end of April 2019.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is set to complete before the end of April 2019 the split of the State Fiscal Service into the tax and customs agencies, that's according to a Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies under the International Monetary Fund's new program for Ukraine, the text of which is available to UNIAN.
According to the document, the new agencies will be accountable to the Ministry of Finance.
The competition to select heads of the newly created agencies is also scheduled to have been completed by late April 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the IMF Executive Board o approved a new 14-month stand-by program for Ukraine worth $3.9 billion with immediate allocation of the first $1.4 billion tranche.
On the eve of the move, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution on reorganization of the State Fiscal Service by splitting it into the State Tax and State Customs Services, which was one of the IMF's requirements to provide assistance to Ukraine.
