Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has announced that Ukraine's state-owned defense giant Ukroboronprom is within 10 days to determine an executor of its international financial audit.
"We've decided to oblige Ukroboronprom to complete within 10 days the negotiation procedures with audit companies, determine the winner and start its public financial audit, as well as report on it," the prime minister said at a government meeting on May 15.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine mulls a new state agency with expanded powers to replace the state-run Ukroboronprom, according to Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Serhiy Kryvonos.
Adopting the bill on Ukroboronprom reform will help reduce corruption risks in defense industry, Kryvonos believes.
According to him, the new body will take under control the companies that are now part of the defense giant and eliminate a "very large number of existing 'mediating' firms," while raising the level of transparency in defense procurement.
