The receipts in May alone increased by 19.7%, to UAH 21.79 billion ($808.5 million).
Budget receipts from a unified social tax in January-May 2019 were estimated at UAH 106.59 billion (US$3.96 billion), which was 23.1%, or UAH 19.99 billion ($741.7 million) up year-over-year (y-o-y).

The receipts in May alone stood at UAH 21.79 billion ($808.5 million), which was 19.7%, or UAH 3.58 billion ($133 million) higher than the figure reported in May 2018, according to Ukraine's Treasury Service.
As UNIAN reported earlier, budget receipts from a unified social tax in January-May 2018 totaled UAH 86.6 billion ($3.2 billion), the Treasury Service said.
According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS), the receipts in 2018 grew by 26.1%, or UAH 47.2 billion ($1.8 billion) from 2017, to UAH 228 billion ($8.5 billion).
