Ukraine's National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) proposes that feed-in tariffs for households' new photovoltaic (PV) systems be reduced by 66.7% from 2025.

The relevant draft resolution was published on the NEURC's website.

In particular, the regulator plans to set the feed-in tariff for home PV systems with a total capacity up to 50 kWh, which are installed on the roofs and facades of capital facilities put into operation during 2019, at UAH 540.79 per kWh (excluding VAT), which now corresponds to 18 eurocents per kWh.

When commissioning PV systems in 2020-2024, the feed-in tariff is proposed to be set at UAH 486, or 16 eurocents, per kWh (excluding VAT).

Households with PV systems (up to 50 kW) to be put into operation in 2025 and later will sell electricity into the grids at UAH 157.26 per kWh (excluding VAT), that is, just a bit over 5 eurocents per kWh, which is more than 66.7% down from the current tariff.

The draft resolution also provides for a 66.7% reduction in feed-in tariffs for new wind turbines and hybrid solar-wind power stations to 3.3 and 3.8 eurocents per kWh, respectively.

The document and all its provisions will be valid until January 1, 2030.

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission is expected to finally adopt the resolution at its meeting on June 27.
