On Wednesday, July 31, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 25.10/25.14 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by six kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 25.02 to the dollar.
Ukraine's central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for August 1:
US$100 costs UAH 2,502.0755 (UAH 2,508.5516 as of July 31);

On Wednesday, July 31, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 25.10/25.14 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 27.96/28.00.
As UNIAN reported earlier, experts said in their forecast that the hryvnia will weaken by the end of the year, although its rate is unlikely to reach the level of UAH 29.3 to the dollar, laid down in this year's state budget.
The last time the hryvnia rate was so strong against dollar and euro was three years ago.
