NABU raiding UkSATSE's head office

The raids are taking place as part of the investigation into the funds the company lost in the insolvent Platinum Bank.

Agents of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) are raiding the main office of the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE).

"Today, NABU detectives are raiding our head office on the basis of a ruling by Kyiv's Solomyansky District Court as part of a criminal case on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official position, entailing grave consequences)," according to the press service of the enterprise.

"For our part, we fully cooperate with NABU operatives and remain ready to assist in every possible way in carrying out the necessary measures for the sake of return of the funds lost in Platinum Bank," UkSATSE Head Oleksandr Dotsenko said.

UkSATSE said after the PJSC Platinum Bank had been classified by the National Bank of Ukraine as insolvent, investigation had been ongoing since January 2017 on the relations between UkSATSE and the specified bank, where a part of the enterprise's funds was placed under former UkSATSE Head Dmytro Babeichuk.
