Ukraine's major taxpayers declare US$1 bln in revenue in H1

Ukrainian major taxpayers, serviced by the Large Taxpayers Office at the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine, during the January-June 2019 (H1) campaign declared UAH 2.69 trillion, or US$1 billion, in revenue, which was 4.2% up year-over-year (y-o-y).

Major taxpayers' revenue accounts for 61% of total revenue in Ukraine, the Office's press service reported on August 19.

At the same time, the Office's taxpayers provided more than 79.6% of corporate profit tax in total tax accruals across the country.

In particular, Ukrainian major taxpayers over the period under review declared UAH 19.5 billion ($775.7 million) in corporate profit tax, which was UAH 1.9 billion ($75.6 million), or 11.2%, up y-o-y.

"The corporate profit tax declaration campaign in H1 2019 once again confirmed the effectiveness of servicing large-scale businesses by the Large Taxpayers Office," the press service added.

As UNIAN reported, as of the middle May, Ukrainians declared a total of UAH 83.6 billion ($3.3 billion) in income, which was almost UAH 26 billion ($1 billion), or 45%, up y-o-y.
