The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has passed a bill on improving the functions of state regulation of financial services markets ("split" law).

The bill provides for the liquidation of the National Financial Services Commission and the transfer of its functions to the National Bank of Ukraine and the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market.
