The signing of an agreement at the staff level immediately following the mission's visit was unlikely.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Sergiy Nikolaychuk has said the Ukrainian government hopes a new program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be approved until the end of the year.
According to him, the IMF statement on the results of the mission's work was expected, since signing an agreement at the staff level immediately following the mission's visit was unlikely.

"The work is underway. Consultations are ongoing at the technical level," he told UNIAN.
Nikolaychuk also said in the coming weeks, the IMF expects from Ukraine a draft state budget for the next year, built on updated forecasts.
