"With our team there was not a single case that an enterprise was taken away after it had been privatized. We really want to restore order in this large-scale privatization [campaign] ... For our part, we want to reassure you that there won't be new nationalization," he said during a press marathon on October 10, 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on October 2, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, passed a bill to abolish the list of enterprises that are not subject to sale.

Zelensky earlier instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to transfer at least 500 enterprises to the State Property Fund by December 1, 2019, for subsequent sale via the ProZorro.Sale electronic procurement system as part of small privatization.

He also called on the Cabinet to draw up a list of strategic enterprises that are not subject to privatization.
