From today, the minimum pension has been increased by 74 UAH ($3.1) to UAH 1,638 ($68.51).
From December 1, subsistence minimum and minimum pension have increased in Ukraine, according to the state budget schedule.
Subsistence minimum now amounts to UAH 2,102 ($87.92) for the able-bodied citizens, while previously it was set at UAH 2,007 ($83.95). For disabled persons, it stands at UAH 1,638 ($68.51) against UAH 1,564 ($65.42), for children under 6 years of age – at UAH 1,779 ($74.41) against UAH 1,699 ($71.07) and UAH 2,218 ($92.77) for children aged 6 to 18 against UAH 2,118 ($88.59).
Also from today, the minimum pension was raised by UAH 74 ($3.1) to UAH 1,638 ($68.51), which is the second increase this year. From July 1, it had been increased by UAH 67 ($2.8), up to UAH 1,564 ($65.42).

Thus, the minimum pension this year will have increased by 9%, which should exceed the target inflation rate (7.4%).
The size of the maximum pension also increased by UAH 740 ($30.95), to UAH 16,380 ($685.14).
In addition, the maximum unemployment benefit increased to UAH 8,408 ($351.69).
Social benefits were raised as well.
So, the minimum amount of alimony for children under 6 has grown from UAH 849.5 ($35.53) to UAH 889.5 ($37.21), and for children aged 6 to 18 – from UAH 1,059 ($44.3) to UAH 1,109 ($46.39).
