Ukraine's hryvnia strengthens against U.S. dollar to UAH 23.69 on Dec 10

Trade on Ukraine's interbank forex market on Monday, December 9, closed at UAH 23.71/23.73 per U.S. dollar.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Monday evening set the official forex rate at UAH 23.69 to the dollar, which made the country's national currency stronger by three kopiykas and was the maximum indicator since January 2016, or almost in four years.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for December 10:

US$100 costs UAH 2,368.8511 (UAH 2,372.4789 as of December 9);

EUR 100 costs UAH 2,623.5026 (UAH 2,632.0281 as of December 9).

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is UAH 26.24 per euro.

Trade on Ukraine's interbank forex market on Monday, December 9, closed at UAH 23.71/23.73 per U.S. dollar, while the hryvnia quotations to the euro were at UAH 26.25/26.27.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's national currency in November 2019 strengthened by 3.4% against the U.S. dollar. The hryvnia has also strengthened by 13.4% since the beginning of the year, to UAH 23.97 per U.S. dollar.
