The regulator also increased the expected balance of payments surplus in 2020 to $3.2 billion.
The National Bank improved its forecast for international reserves of Ukraine at the end of 2020 to $29.3 billion from $24 billion previously projected.
According to the NBU, the forecast for 2021 is improved to $31.6 billion from $23.1 billion projected previously.
In 2022, the National Bank expects the growth of international reserves to $32.3 billion.
The regulator also improved the forecast for the balance of payments, boosting the expected surplus in 2020 to $3.2 billion from $0.6 billion.

In 2021, the National Bank expects a balance of payments surplus at $1.6 billion instead of the previously forecasted deficit of $1.1 billion.
In 2022, a balance of payments surplus of 0.4% is expected.
