As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers in December 2019 announced it had begun accepting applications from entrepreneurs for financing from the Ukrainian Startup Fund, which will sponsor creative companies that need resources.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk says the Fund is expected to have UAH 440 million (US$17.9 million) in grants.

The fund finances almost all areas except gambling, the production of hazardous substances, alcohol and tobacco production, as well as military and nuclear technologies.
