According to Kukhta, the main task for the ministry team is the continuation of the initiated reforms.

"It is important for our team that the changes and reforms that we have managed to launch in six months of work (and this is the land market, the launch of privatization, reform of state enterprises, the creation of tools to attract investment and much more) do not fade away and continue for the benefit of the people of Ukraine," he added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's parliament on March 4 passed a resolution to accept Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk's resignation, and the entire Cabinet of Ministers disbanded. Ukrainian parliamentarians voted to appoint Denys Shmyhal as the country's prime minister.

The then Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov turned down the offer to lead the ministry of agrarian policy that is set to be reestablished. He rejected the proposal after a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
