Ukrainian gas stocks grow by 0.13% to almost 16 bcm since March 11

Natural gas stocks in Ukraine's underground storage facilities (USFs) have increased by 0.13%, to 15.829 billion cubic meters (bcm) since March 11, when Ukraine started the season of pumping natural gas to build up its reserves.

As of March 21, 2020, gas reserves in the country's USFs were 77% up from 8.96 bcm reported as of March 21, 2019, according to the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine started the season of pumping natural gas into its USFs on March 11, when the country's gas reserves there were 15.808 bcm.

By the start of the current heating season, Ukraine had accumulated 21.76 bcm of gas in its USFs, which was a record high natural gas stock over a decade.
