Funds will be allocated to Ukraine through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The United States has expanded aid to Ukraine to US$9.1 million to tackle the COVID-19 coronavirus spread.
"The assistance is aimed at preparing laboratory systems, identifying the disease, providing technical support in responding to and communicating the risks of the spread of COVID-19. In addition, assistance will help support measures for the prevention and treatment of patients with COVID-19, measures to ensure water supply, sanitation and hygiene for the most vulnerable segments of the population of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA wrote on Facebook.
As noted, funds will be allocated to Ukraine through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
