A modernized Dozor-B armored vehicle presented in Lviv / facebook.com/arsen.avakov
A modernized Dozor-B armored military vehicle, designed by Lviv Tank overhaul factory, has been presented in Lviv, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"These vehicles will now be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for testing. We plan to complete the tests this summer, and then the first production models will be supplied to the Ministry of Defense", said director of Ukroboronprom Roman Romanov during a presentation.
According to Romanov, in 2015, the Defense Ministry will get the exact amount of vehicles it has ordered.
"This synthesis of the relations between the [Lviv] regional state administration and the enterprises of Ukroboronprom really has a positive effect. The model of the relations that we have built justifies itself," said Romanov.
According to him, one of the factories in Lviv region has started producing seats for armored vehicles ordered by Ukroboronprom. The State Concern also plans to cooperate with the Electron Corporation, which is ready to produce spare parts for military machinery.
