The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) recommended the 12 largest gas station networks to reduce fuel prices, according to the AMC website.

Based on own calculations, the AMC considers that retail prices on gasoline and diesel fuel exceeded the level of required prices amid considerable competition by 15% in different periods in 2015. This could lead to a breach of the regulations on protection of economic competition and infringement of the consumers’ interests.

Therefore, the AMC recommends to "take measures to establish retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel at a levels required in the background of considerable market competition."
