"Recently there have been a lot of speculations regarding the reforms. I would like to respond: reforms are being implemented, and the country is changing," Pavlenko said.

He noted that despite the lack of funds, including credit funds, sowing and harvesting campaigns have been successful. High gross yield figures have been achieved, along with a record high export. While only a third of the cultivated areas in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions have been under crop. In the near future, these regions may face a shortage of a range of foods.

Thanks to Ukraine's diversification efforts, the Russian market accounts for only 2% in Ukrainian total export, while the export to the European Union markets, as well as Asian and African countries has significantly increased. Ukraine is capable of ensuring its food security and exports its products to 190 countries.

The export has been boosted by deregulation, which resulted in more than 50 amendments having been made to the legislation, and six licenses and 14 certificates have been cancelled.

"All our subordinate bodies and authorities are working on deregulation to facilitate exports as much as possible," Pavlenko said.

It is reported that since the beginning of the marketing year, from July to present day, a total of 6.428 million tonnes of grain has been exported.

"It is just a single example. We are moving forward and quite successfully, in my opinion," the minister said.
