Russia’s major producer and exporter of natural gas, Gazprom, continues supplies of natural gas to Donbas in the framework of the current agreement with Ukraine’s oil and gas monopoly Naftogaz Ukrainy, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told Russian news agency TASS ahead of the bilateral talks in Vienna.
"It’s true, we continue supplies to Donbas and we’re doing this under the agreement with PJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy," he said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Gazprom said that it had supplied gas to the militant-occupied territory of Donbas at the amount of $217 million and it demanded payment from Naftogaz Ukrainy.
