Dozens of cars in long lines to Crimea gas stations

More than 40 cars have been reported lined up in front of gas station in the town of Bakhchysarai, Crimea, as the so-called head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov earlier accused members of the oil market of the creation of artificial fuel boom, Russian Dozhd TV channel reports.

It is noted that following Aksyonov's statement the major Crimean oil traders signed an agreement with the "government" on the retention of fuel prices for the period of state of emergency.

"During an emergency situation, due to the limited supply of electricity in the Republic of Crimea, it is forbidden to increase retail prices for motor fuel," the document says.

The four pylons belong to the power grids supplying electricity to Crimea and some areas in Ukraine's Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

After the incident, the Crimean occupying authorities reported about a total power blackout on the peninsula in the early hours of November 22. According to some reports, strategic facilities were switched to the independent power supply.

On November 24, national energy company Ukrenergo reported that a destroyed transmission tower in Kherson region had been repaired.
