The issue of the banking blockade of the occupied Crimea is now being discussed with the state authorities, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and International Relations, deputy chairman of the interagency working group of the Cabinet for the issue of damages from the temporary occupation of the territory of Ukraine Georgy Lohvynsky has said in an interview with 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"We’ve still got plenty of gifts in a sleeve to President Putin, and we will continue to demand by all means protection of human rights on the peninsula ... It's about financial, banking and naval blockade. There are legal paths for all of these tasks," said Lohvynsky.
The MP also stressed that there is already an understanding on these issues between the organizers of the blockade and the state.

Only the trucks are banned from entering the peninsula, while passenger cars and pedestrians can come to Crimea unhindered.
On November 22, due to the damage to power transmission pylons in Kherson region, the power supply from mainland Ukraine to Crimea was also halted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Lenur Islyamov, the main coordinator of Crimea blockade, pledged a "naval blockade" of the peninsula which would follow the food and energy blockade.
